Taking Care

A video library for carers

This resource can help you understand whether you are a carer and if you are, it will help you find your way on your caring journey.

These video playlists are designed to help you. Hear from carers and professionals as they share their thoughts and insights.  You’ll find support on practical matters, understanding your emotions, and how to keep your own life in balance. Everyone’s journey is different but many of the experiences are common to all.

If you’re caring for someone, you might find that there are some things you can relate to in these videos. But you might find that some things are different for you. Everybody’s experiences are different.

Remember, listening to other people’s experiences can be overwhelming, take it slowly, look at a few videos and find a way to use Taking Care that works for you.

Watching the videos may prompt questions about what is available to you in your area. You will find links to useful resources at the bottom of this page, or search the internet for “carer support”.
